Profit before tax (PBT) of IFGL Refractories Ltd stood at Rs 23.14 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 52.54% year-on-year, and jumping 36.04% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 34 crore, easing 3.91% YoY and declining 4.80% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 5.23% to Rs 489.01 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 269.62 crore, increasing 18.68% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 84.48 crore, expanding by 9.37% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations advanced 14.59% to Rs 1894.25 crore, while net profit fell 19.26% to Rs 34.7 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 11706% to Rs 126.21 crore, and PBT plunged by 24.19% to Rs 45.14 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 63.38 crore in FY26, as against Rs 28.28 crore in FY25. IFGL Refractories Ltd declined by 4.09% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.63% during the same period.
