Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd share price inched up 0.16% to Rs 63.31 after the company's net profit jumped 51.84% to Rs 248.73 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 1.78% to Rs 2025.56 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Speciality Retail industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3.05 lakh crore, gaining 3.24%. It has improved by 1.38% over last one week and gained upto 6.29% in last one month while the market capitalization of Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd has marginally improved by 5.08% and 4.54% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd stood at Rs 320.26 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 23.41% year-on-year, and expanding by 64.45% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 61 crore, rallying 26.55% YoY and tanking 17.56% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 5.44% to Rs 2258.36 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 173.28 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 44.73% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 345.92 crore, surging 17.15% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 11.18% to Rs 8176.92 crore, while net profit soared by 32.96% to Rs 829.89 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 65279% to Rs 377.03 crore, and PBT witnessed a strong rise of 29.20% to Rs 928.13 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 160.75 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1681.33 crore in FY25. Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd nosedived by 16.81% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.63% during the same period.
